Chef Lucy, the heart behind PopTop Sweets, blends creativity, passion, and a promise into every treat she creates. Born and raised in Puerto Rico, Lucy began her career in hospitality, earning a degree in management and leading teams across several hotels. Yet, her true passion was always in the kitchen, where baking gave her the freedom to express herself.

Her journey into baking took shape while working at a supermarket and experimenting with projects at home. But it was her sister Johanna, who dreamt of starting a bakery with Lucy, that truly ignited the dream of PopTop Sweets. After Johanna’s passing in 2023, Lucy made a heartfelt promise to carry on their shared vision.

At PopTop Sweets, desserts are more than just treats—they are moments of joy waiting to happen. Each handcrafted sweet blends nostalgic flavors with modern innovation, from classic Red Velvet Cake to gluten-free and vegan options. Though the original idea involved playful pop-can packaging, the brand evolved to focus on making every celebration sweeter with high-quality ingredients and love in every bite.
